I was wondering if anyone has tried the new defense ammo from Hornady? Looks good and reads good, but I was wanting to know about accuracy and recoil. TKS.

Hi, John - I was using Hornady, with good results, but changed to Buffalo Bore; my arsenal is dwindling, now shooting .38's. The Buffalo Bore I'm using is the standard pressure, short barrel, low flash HVY 38 SPCL (non +P), 158gr., soft Lead SWC-HC @ 850 fps. The recoil is stout, but manageable. Check it out:
